We started April off with Week of the Young Child. This week we celebrated with hands-on experiences, collaborative activities, and encouraging movement through music. The themes were – Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday, and Families Friday. Each day the teachers planned activities to match the theme of their curriculum.
As the week finished, each class prepared for their Spring parties with an egg hunt! The children arrived dressed in their spring colors with baskets in hand. All the teachers hid their class eggs that morning for the children to find. The doors busted open and the children rushed out the door sprinting to collect their eggs for their baskets. When all the eggs were collected, the children sat together in their spring decorated class to enjoy a tasty snack as a family.
