Wow where did March go! We started the month off with our big Open House. Our theme for our Open House was all about emotions and kindness. The children and teachers worked extremely hard on all their activites to show off all their learning while at school. Some examples are reading books, speaking and writing about their feelings and emotions, painting, coloring, or collaging art, and counted pom poms to work on our math. All the families were able to walk around at our Open House with their children so they could show off their work that they are so proud of.
The following week, we rolled right into St Patrick’s Day. The classes had some special activities and art, like lacing with fruit loops. Lacing is a great way to develop our fine motor skills. This led into our fun and exciting day when all the children came to school wearing green and ate a special snack. While outside, Lucky the Leprechaun made a huge mess in the classrooms and setting off all the traps leaving behind a special note and some gold coins. The Leprechaun was too quick for us, so better luck next year!
